How to reactivate Tally from educational mode?
Sometimes Tally goes into the educational mode. Due to this, the need arises to reactivate our Tally license. There are various reasons why this occurs.
Please follow the following steps in case you come across this issue:
Before you begin, you have to keep in mind that a valid Tally.ERP 9 license is required to reactivate your Tally.
In case you don’t have a license, you can buy one here.
For single-user or multi-user license on server follow the below steps. In case of multi-user client gone in educational mode, click here
Step 1. Start Tally.ERP 9.
Step 2. Select Reactivate Your License in the Startup screen, as shown below:
Step 3. If you are a Microsoft Windows standard user and do not have the required rights, a message appears as shown below:
Step 4. Click Yes, and enter your computer administrator username and password to restart Tally.ERP 9 with administrator rights.
Step 5. If you have Microsoft Windows administrator rights, a message appears as shown below:
Step 6. Click Yes, for Tally.ERP 9 to restart with administrator rights.
Step 7. Enter the Administrator e-mail ID and Tally.NET password in the License Reactivation screen, as shown below:
Step 8. Press Enter to reactivate. A confirmation message appears on the reactivation of your license..
Done! Your license is now reactivated!. That is it.
In case, you have forgotten your Tally.Net password, you need to continue below
Step 9. Click “F5: Reset Pwd” button on the top right-hand corner of the screen or simply press F5 on your keyboard. The Reset Password screen appears as shown below:
Step 10. Enter your registered e-mail ID. An e-mail containing the password reset link is sent to your e-mail ID.
Step 11. Click the link in the e-mail. The Change My Password web page appears as shown below:
Step 12. Enter the New Password and go back to Step 7.
